Chinese researchers make breakthrough in single-layer graphene (1/4)

A researcher demonstrates the quality of translucency of a touch-screen product made from the 15-inch single-layer graphene (R) in the Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in southwest China's Chongqing, Jan. 24, 2013. Chongqing Institute recently announced that it successfully made the first single-layer graphene of 15 inches thick which has marked the highest domestic standard so far in China. This graphene will contribute to the improvement of touch screens on mobile phones and PC. (Xinhua/Liu Chan)
