Destroyer 'Shenzhen' opens to visitors (1/6)

China’s missile destroyer "Shenzhen" opens to visitors at Chiwan port in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, December 25, 2012. The new-type modern guided-missile destroyer, 153 meters in length and 16.5 meters in width, was designed and constructed by China. Fully laden, the vessel could displace a total of 6,600 tons of water. It has convoyed 393 merchant ships and driven away 267 pirate vessels in the Gulf of Aden. [Photo: CNS/Du Yang]
