Driver works on 1st high-speed line through high-latitude regions (1/5)

D1353 high-speed train driver Zhang Lihao works on the Harbin-Dalian high-speed rail line in Shengyan, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, Nov. 28, 2012. The railway linking Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, and port city of Dalian in Liaoning will start service on Dec. 1, making it the world's first high-speed line running through regions with extremely low temperatures in the winters. The 34-year-old Zhang Lihao is the driver of train D1353. He was selected as a high-speed train driver in 2009 after intense competition and strict test. (Xinhua/Yao Jianfeng)
