China launches another satellite for independent navigation system (1/3)

A Long March-3C carrier rocket carrying a satellite blasts off from the launch pad at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Xichang, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Oct. 25, 2012. China successfully launched the satellite into space for its indigenous global navigation and positioning network at 11:33 p.m. Beijing Time Thursday, the launch center said.
