Initiated in 1956 by Tan Kah Kee, a renowned patriotic leader of the overseas Chinese community, in Xiamen, Fujian Province, the museum has become an important cultural platform connecting overseas Chinese around the world with their ancestral homeland. For seven decades, its legacy has been passed down, and its mission has continued to flourish. Today, more stories of overseas Chinese people's love for their ancestral homeland and hometown continue to unfold here.
