From Yemen to Yiwu: Ammar's journey as a doctor in China

Meet Ammar—a doctor fluent in Arabic, English, and Chinese. He now works as a doctor at a hospital in Yiwu. While pursuing his PhD in Hangzhou, he was drawn to the energy and openness of this city. After graduating, he turned down offers from hospitals in bigger cities— and chose to start his medical career in Yiwu instead. As he says: "Yiwu is a city where big dreams come true."
