Nvidia CEO hails U.S. decision to lift H20 export ban to China

(ECNS) -- Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang expressed optimism in Beijing on Tuesday after the U.S. government lifted export controls on the company's H20 AI chip, paving the way for stronger engagement with the Chinese market.

"I'm happy that the U.S. has lifted export controls on the H20," Huang said.

He also highlighted the importance of Nvidia's Hopper architecture in meeting the soaring demand for advanced AI models like DeepSeek R1 and Alibaba's Qwen.

Huang is scheduled to attend Wednesday's opening ceremony of the China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing on Wednesday.
