The "Global Mayors' Dialogue·SCO Summit Cities" event was held in Tianjin on Tuesday. Gulnar Shaimergenova, director of the China Studies Center in Kazakhstan, said in an exclusive interview with China News Network that China plays a vital role in promoting regional security, cooperation, and shared development through multilateral platforms such as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
