The 2025 World Tourism Cities Federation Hong Kong Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit officially kicked off in Hong Kong on Tuesday. During the conference, several international tourism professionals shared their travel experiences in China, praising China's 240-hour visa-free transit policy, which helps hold the country's tourism development potential.

Ralf Ostendorf, Director of Market Management & Media Relations of Berlin, noted that convenient entry policies will boost the growth of China's tourism economy, making live connections more easier. On facilitating international travelers visiting China, Charl Hofmeyr Albertyn, representative of Aquila Collection, stated that the policy facilitates inbound tourism operators, enabling them to create rich products for the Chinese market and provide visitors with new experiences and more choices.

With China's vast tourism potential, how can it attract more international visitors? Maurizio Rasero, Mayor of Asti, Italy, emphasized that while China boasts numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites, it must strengthen tourism promotions in global markets to deepen global understanding of its cultural and historical richness.
