China's first and the world's largest dual-fuel trailing suction hopper dredger, Xinhaixun, hit the water in China on Sunday.
With a total length of 155.7 meters, a breadth of 32 meters, and an impressive hopper capacity of 17,000 cubic meters, it is the world's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) and diesel powered trailing suction dredger.
After the launch ceremony, it will be mainly used to undertake colossal dredging, reclamation and coastal maintenance projects.
