Tourists enjoy hotpots during 'Golden week' holiday in Chongqing

Statistics show that tourists and residents　enjoyed over 10 million hotpots in nearly　30,000 hotpot restaurants in southwest China's Chongqing　during the eight-day Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, according to the Chongqing Hotpot Association. 　

During the holiday, the table turnover rate of some restaurants ranged from 3 to 4 rounds, while others exceeded 10 rounds. "For example, a hotpot restaurant near Jiefangbei received nearly 2,000 tables of customers during the holiday, from 10 A.M. until 2 A.M. in the next morning, with a continuous stream of tourists visiting this famous restaurant," said Wang Renqing, vice chairman of Chongqing Hotpot Association.
