All border checkpoints between Hong Kong and the mainland reopened starting Monday. There is no quota for customs clearance personnel, and the requirements for nucleic acid tests are canceled.

Lo Wu port, the first port connecting Hong Kong and Shenzhen, officially opened at 6: 30 a.m. on Monday after 1,098-day suspension to resume passenger clearance service.

A wishing wall was set up at Lo Wu port, and small gifts, such as flowers and epidemic prevention packages, were prepared for passengers. Red lanterns were hung everywhere in the port.
