Pharmacies gave out free anti-fever drugs to the public in China's Jiangxi Province. These medicines were not for sale, but only for distribution to residents in need.
100,000 packs of Akafen powder and 10,000 tablets of Acetaminophen were distributed to citizens in Dayu County, Jiangxi Province. Each person can only get 10 packs of Akafen powder and 2 tablets of Acetaminophen.
"Due to the shortage of medicines, the fever drugs in my pharmacy are not for sale, but only distributed free to those in need," said Liao Xiujuan, a pharmacy manager.
