(ECNS) -- Loaded with 50 cargo containers, the 75013 China-Europe freight train departed from the Wuwei South Station in Lanzhou on Sunday to Hamburg, Germany.

This is the second China-Europe freight train that has set off from Wuwei South Station this year, and the first to Hamburg.

It will take the China-Europe freight train about 18 days to reach Hamburg via a combined sea-rail transport.

Compared to offshore shipping, it will save about 30 days in transportation time due to the implementation of the "territory declaration, port clearance" mode.
