The manufacturing of facilities for China's first Six Flags Water Park is mostly complete and they are expected to be installed in East China's Zhejiang Province by the end of February or March.

The water park, jointly developed by the U.S. Six Flags Entertainment Company and its Chinese partner, Riverside Investment Group, is slated to be open in June 2020, according to media reports.

The first Six Flags theme park in China will be located in Haiyan county, Jiaxing, on the shore of Hangzhou Bay, in Zhejiang Province, which is approximately 45 miles from downtown Shanghai, according to the Six Flags website.

The park will feature a number of "record-breaking roller coasters, unique thrill experiences, incredible live shows and more, said the website.

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is the world's largest regional theme park company with 20 parks across the U.S., Mexico and Canada, said its website.

Three Six Flags parks are coming to China, including Six Flags Kids World, Six Flags Zhejiang and Six Flags Chongqing, while an all-new Six Flags Adventure Park, offering high-energy outdoor thrills, will adjoin the Six Flags Chongqing complex, notes the company's website.
