Cross-talk comedians take stage on China's pioneering cruise ship

Adora Magic City, China's first domestically built cruise ship, set sail for a cross-talk-themed cruise on Tuesday, with renowned performers including popular comedian Guo Degang and his partner Yu Qian on board.

The themed route is a joint project by operator Adora Cruises, Haide Media and Beijing Hengxin International Travel Service Co, and marks the first performance by Guo on Magic City. As the founder of the leading comedian troupe Deyun She, Guo boarded with his core performers to present cruise tourists a seafaring cross-talk gala during their voyage.

The voyage is part of the sixth season of "Happy Ocean · Feast of Laughter", the at-sea cross-talk special of Deyun She's global tour. Deyun She's golden partners - Guo Degang and Yu Qian - will take the stage as the starring lineup, bringing a number of classic cross-talk works to create a cultural feast with constant laughter.

Departing from Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port on Tuesday, the four-night trip will take guests to the popular destinations of Jeju and Fukuoka. While aboard, passengers will also enjoy an interactive experience based on China's animated hit Ne Zha, a summer BBQ, seafood and summer drinks, a craft beer carnival and sports activities.
