Chinese President Xi Jinping has stressed acting on the people-centered philosophy of development and building the country's northern border areas into a more beautiful place.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks during an inspection tour to northern China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from Monday to Tuesday.
