46 China–Japan air routes to suspend all flights for two weeks

(ECNS) — A total of 46 air routes between China and Japan will suspend all flights from Dec. 22 through Jan. 4, according to industry data.

The suspensions include routes such as Shenyang-Osaka, Nanjing-Fukuoka, Wuhan-Osaka, Fuzhou-Nagoya, Shanghai-Okayama and Chengdu-Sapporo.

As of Dec. 22, 2,195 flights from the Chinese mainland to Japan scheduled for January 2026 had been canceled, representing a cancellation rate of 40.4%.
