(ECNS) -- Hundreds of companies from more than 10 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, the U.S., and France, reached 853 cooperation projects with a total investment of 2.5 trillion yuan ($0.36 trillion) at the 2022 Global Investment Promotion Conference for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA) was held from Wednesday to Thursday.
Among them, 48 major projects were signed on-site, with a total investment amount of 180.1 billion yuan.
The investors include Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Group, ZF Group, Carlsberg Group, and other Fortune 500 companies. The investment fields cover advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, new generation of information technology and other industries.
The conference introduced the GBA's business environment, especially the edges of the industrial and supply chain of the area. Also, preferential policies and incentives were presented to the global community.
