(ECNS) - China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Israel have urged Chinese residents to be on guard and aware of the escalating violence in and around Gaza.

The statement said Chinese citizens may face extremely high security risks and assistance may be affected by the ground situation if they insist on going to Gaza. It said Chinese citizens may have to bear the expenses incurred in the assistance process.

The embassy also disclosed the country’s police number 100, ambulance number 101, and the 12308 hotline (86-10-12308) of the Chinese Foreign Ministry's Global Emergency Call Center for Consular Protection.
