A campaign to raise public awareness of the law has covered over 2,000 counties, cities and districts across China, according to a conference on promoting the campaign in central China's Henan Province.
The campaign was jointly launched by the China Law Society, the Ministry of Justice and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, aiming to mobilize young volunteers to promote legal education at the primary level.
More than 800,000 volunteers participated in the campaign in 2018, helping over 80 million people learn about the law.
