Draft Antarctic law strengthens legal protection for polar ecosystem

 

China's draft law on Antarctic activities and environmental protection has entered its second review.

The draft sets tiered fines for environmental violations, with penalties up to 1 million yuan for serious unauthorized tourism activities.
