Hydroelectricity station in East China poised to accelerate China's green energy

Zhejiang Tiantai Pumped-storage Power Station has four units online.

The 1.7-GW project has the world's highest rated water head of 724 meters and can produce 1.7 billion kWh of clean power per year.

Its 4 reversible pump-turbine units each hit 425 MW, which is the largest single-unit capacity in China.
