Jiuxian Mountain, with a 1,658-meter peak in East China's Fujian Province, attracted a group of photographers, offering them an unparalleled view of a star-filled sky.

"Star orbits are heavenly roads. By tracing them with photos we feel the power from above. Recording one orbit alone may take hours, and there are trillions of trillions in the universe," said Lai Jianming.

Lai said that this mountain has long been popular with photographers around the world for the sights it allows them to snap.

The mountain is a place for photographers of all stripes, no matter their techniques or ability.

The starry night in these pictures bears a resemblance to whatever imagination will show you, from smooth silk to a paint scroll.
