(ECNS) -- At the 2026 World Manufacturing Convention in east China's Anhui Province, industrial robots are moving beyond demonstrations to take on real-world tasks, with several products already entering overseas markets.
Developed by Hefei-based Youibot, mobile manipulation robots feature a “one brain, multiple forms” system that allows different robots to share a unified scheduling platform.
They have been deployed in semiconductor production, warehousing and logistics, and are now in use in South Korea, Germany, Japan and Southeast Asia.
In mining, an Anhui-based industrial robotics company is using robots to take over more high-risk tasks. One rope-changing operation that once required more than 60 workers and five days can now be completed by 13 workers in six hours, while its robotic cleaning systems have enabled unmanned operations and reduced safety risks.
Such robots are already in use at Chinese mines, with exports to Russia and African countries. Mining robots are evolving from single-task assistance toward autonomous and eventually coordinated multi-robot operations.
