China In Photos: Chinese robots beat Usain Bolt's 100-meter sprint world record

Two Chinese humanoid robots have eclipsed the achievement of the man widely regarded as the fastest human in history.

At the second World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing on Saturday, China's Tien Kung Ultra humanoid robot clocked 9.39 seconds at the finish line, shattering the 9.58-second men's 100-meter world record set by Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt 17 years ago.

Another Chinese humanoid robot, aptly named "Lightning," also finished faster than Bolt in a time of 9.47 seconds.
