(ECNS) -- The Swift Eagle 2026 joint training for airborne troops from China and Belarus concluded on Monday at a training center of the Chinese PLA Air Force, according to the Ministry of National Defense.
Troops from both sides operated in mixed task groups during the preliminary training. They conducted specialized training on designated subjects, standardized procedures for coordinated operations, and refined tactics, in a bid to sharpen their capabilities in joint counter-terrorism operations.
During the joint training, soldiers from both countries also participated in seminars, sports competitions, and cultural exchanges to strengthen mutual understanding and trust.
This event marked the fourth Swift Eagle training, which serves as a vital platform for China-Belarus counterterrorism cooperation and plays a key role in safeguarding regional stability, the ministry said.
