Chinese humanoid robot conducts world's first front flip

(ECNS) -- The humanoid robot PM01 developed by Chinese robot company EngineAI completed the world's first front flip, marking an improvement in dynamic balance and flexibility, according to an official video released on Monday.

Compared to backflips, the front flip places higher demands on the robot's dynamic balance, instantaneous acceleration, and precise landing, said EngineAI, based in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.

The company has overcome the challenge of robotic front flips by improving intelligent control algorithms and advanced sensor technology, marking a significant advance in robotics in terms of motion and dexterity.
