Wang Ning, a participant in the ninth China International Import Expo, has turned his wheelchair into an intelligent robot that moves with his thoughts, after learning 3D printing, writing his own code and designing a brain-computer interface.

An AI agent provides mobility and voice services based on his emotions and schedule.

Wang told China News Network that as AI becomes part of his life, he is also in a "tug-of-war" with the pace of his leg muscle atrophy through hardware development.

With the wheelchair robot now in service, he has gained another "leg" that can run. (By Xue Lingqiao and Xiao Yudi)
