Although Japan does not currently possess nuclear weapons, it already has nearly all the material and technological prerequisites to produce them. Once it fully breaks through the constraints of the "Three Non-Nuclear Principles," it could, in a very short time, become a de facto nuclear-armed state. Those who play with fire will eventually get burned; those who ride the waves with nuclear ambitions will ultimately be swallowed by the surging tide of nuclear proliferation risks.
