With Trump serving his second term as president, the U.S. administration's policy toward China has drawn global attention. In the latest China Q&A, Denis Simon, a visiting professor in the Asian Pacific Studies Institute of Duke University, wonders how should China response to the U.S. policy towards China and how should the U.S. rationally assess China's development and its vision of globalization.

Zhao Hai, Director of International Politics Program at National Institute for Global Strategy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, answered his question.

Zhao said China-U.S. relations are a two-way process requiring the U.S. to view China's multipolar world vision objectively and rationally. He emphasized that despite challenges in academic and technological cooperation, China remains committed to fostering bilateral collaboration. He urged the U.S. to reassess its current policy toward China to achieve mutual benefits and shared success. (Chen Caixia)
