Kung Fu enthusiasts were playing broadswords freely in north China's Tianjin.

The broadsword is a traditional weapon popular in areas of Beijing and Tianjin in ancient times. It is an intangible cultural heritage in Tianjin, and is a sport that integrates strength and skill.

The broadsword from the Hui ethnic group in Tianjin was first widely known in the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
