(ECNS) -- Multiple international media outlets reported that the latest data from U.S. firm Automatic Data Processing (ADP) show an unexpected decline in private-sector employment, with roughly 32,000 jobs lost in November 2025.
Analysts warn that economic uncertainty driven by the U.S. government's tariff policies will continue to drag down the labor market.
According to The Guardian, ADP's figures suggest that U.S. labor-market conditions are worsening. Economists even say that tariff-related uncertainty has paused hiring in many sectors, further harming market confidence.
CNBC also recently released new data on the U.S. wealth distribution, whereby the richest 1% of Americans held 29% of total household wealth in the second quarter of this year, only up from 28% in 2000.
In addition, the top 10% held 67% of total household wealth in the U.S., while the bottom 90% held only 33%, underscoring the wealth gap.
