China, India hold 23rd round of general-level talks on western sector of border

(ECNS) -- The Chinese and Indian militaries held the 23rd round of general-level talks on the western sector of the border at the Moldo-Chushul border meeting point on the Indian side on Saturday, the Chinese Ministry of National Defense said on Wednesday.

The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on managing the western sector of the China-India boundary, the ministry said.

They agreed to act in accordance with the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries to continue communication and dialogue through military and diplomatic channels, and jointly maintain peace and tranquility in the border areas, it added.
