(ECNS) -- The Chinese Embassy and consulates in Türkiye said Wednesday they are prepared to assist Chinese citizens entering or transiting through the country amid an increasingly unstable regional security situation.
The embassy also listed hotlines for those seeking consular protection in a notice released early Wednesday.
On Tuesday, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson said it had begun evacuating its citizens from Iran and Israel as tensions in the region continue to escalate following recent cross-border strikes and rising instability.
Some nationals have already been safely relocated, and diplomatic missions are working with other agencies to ensure further evacuations, said the spokesperson.
