(ECNS) -- Trade secret protection and innovation are to be piloted in China, according to a working plan released on March 7 by the State Administration for Market Regulation.
Accordingly, 15 to 20 city-level and county-level administrative units across the country will be selected as test areas where innovative trade secret enforcement and protection will be exercised for the duration of three years to push the protection of trade secrets to a new level.
The plan has put forward six major tasks, including innovation on trade secrets protection systems, improving working mechanism, supervision and law enforcement, service and guarantee. It also suggested to refer to international economic and trade regulations and create an atmosphere to protect trade secrets.
These pilots will be fully launched in China this July.
