China to grant zero-tariff treatment to 53 African countries

(ECNS) -- China will grant zero-tariff treatment to 53 African countries that have diplomatic relations with China starting from May 1, 2026, CCTV reported on Saturday.

China will continue to advance negotiations and signing of economic partnership agreements for common development, and further expand market access for African products exported to China by upgrading the "green channel" and other facilitation measures.
