New international cargo route connects Jiaxing with Chicago
(ECNS) -- A Suparna Airlines all-cargo aircraft took off from Jiaxing Nanhu Airport on Tuesday.
Under the supervision of Jiaxing Customs in Zhejiang Province, the new regular route to Chicago provides a direct air freight link between the Yangtze River Delta and North America.
The Yangtze River Delta, encompassing Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and parts of Anhui, now has a more efficient logistics gateway to North American markets.
China Postal Airlines also launched Zhejiang’s first direct cargo route to Luxembourg from the same airport on Monday, marking further progress in the development of the international air freight network.
The launch of two international cargo routes on consecutive days has placed greater demands on customs supervision and service efficiency.
