(ECNS) -- A shipment of 124 LiuGong excavators and related parts recently left Beibu Gulf Port in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region aboard the Jupiter, sailing directly to Jakarta, Indonesia, and setting a record for the most construction machinery units exported on a single vessel from the port.

The shipment consists entirely of oversized, non-standard equipment, which is harder to load, lift and handle safely than ordinary general cargo.

Qinzhou Terminal worked with freight forwarders, the shipping company and logistics providers to develop a customized loading and lashing plan based on the vessel's cargo capacity, weight limits and stability, helping Chinese equipment makers expand overseas.
