(ECNS) -- The 2026 World Ocean Week kicked off on Thursday in Xiamen, east China's Fujian Province, under the theme "Safeguard the deep blue together, foster human-ocean harmony." The event features an opening ceremony, cultural exchange activities, discussions on marine science and ecology, and marine economy matchmaking activities.
