9th China International Import Expo opens in Shanghai

(ECNS) -- The 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened in Shanghai on Thursday. 

This year's CIIE has attracted 4,142 overseas exhibitors, with a total exhibition area of more than 440,000 square meters.

More than 480 exhibits are set to make their global, Asian or Chinese debuts at the event, a record for the expo.

The expo runs from Nov. 5 through 10.
