(ECNS) -- Xiaomi Auto announced Thursday it will launch its electric vehicle business in Europe in 2027, signing Memorandums of Understanding with eight German dealer groups at IFA Berlin 2026.
The agreements mark the company's first step in building a localized retail and service network across Europe. Xiaomi said it will continue partnering with dealerships to expand its presence and deliver upgraded mobility experiences, with plans to add more partners ahead of its debut in Germany.
Since rolling out its first electric vehicle in early 2024, Xiaomi Auto has accumulated more than 700,000 vehicle deliveries in China.
In late August, the brand officially launched its global website and international social media channels, kicking off direct engagement with overseas users well ahead of its scheduled European market entry, including its debut in Germany, by 2027.
