Comicomment: Iron heel on academic freedom

The U.S. government has reportedly ordered federal agencies to terminate all remaining contracts with Harvard University. It has also suspended new student visa interviews and is considering expanding social media checks on international students. 

By politicizing international education, U.S. government are trampling on students’ rights and the principle that knowledge knows no borders. This not only exposes the hypocrisy behind America’s image as a “beacon of freedom,” but also risks deepening divisions across its society.
