(ECNS) -- Tesla Gigafactory exported nearly 30,000 vehicles in April, including Model 3 and Model Y cars, marking a new monthly record for the past 12 months, the company reported Wednesday.
According to Tesla's Q1 2025 financial report, the new Model Y gained widespread attention upon its launch, setting a new single-day order record in the Asia-Pacific market. Its Gigafactory completed the production line transition in just six weeks, increasing capacity to a new high. In the first quarter of 2025, the factory delivered over 172,000 units of the Model 3 and new Model Y.
Since the made-in-China models launched for sale in South Korea at the end of 2023, Tesla has welcomed a significant surge in local sales. Its total registrations in the South Korean market increased by 80% year-on-year in 2024.
