Jonathan Greenert, US Chief of Naval Operations, arrived at the Lvshun Naval Base in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province, and visited the newly commissioned type-056 guided missile frigate "Datong" and type-039B submarine of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLAN) on July 17, 2014.
