When world mayors take the wheel: Chinese tractors go global

City administrators from various countries participating in the "2026 Global Mayors Dialogue·Luoyang" visited the birthplace of Dongfanghong tractors. The Mayor of Mbarara, Uganda, test-drove the tractor on site and remarked that it offered a highly comfortable driving experience. Born in Luoyang in 1958, Dongfanghong helped China bid farewell to ox-plowing. Now, it's also gaining popularity overseas.
