A close look at Nadam fair in N China's Inner Mongolia

Nadam fair threw the grassland into an　uproar　in Horqin Right Wing Front Banner, Hinggan League, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. 　

A variety of more than 20 activities like horse racing, wrestling competition and archery contest have been held during the event.

Children were also involved, with the youngest wrestler only 7 years old. 　

Nadam, meaning "entertainment" or "recreation" in Mongolian, is a mass traditional Mongolian festival and the carnival on the grassland. It was included in the first batch of The National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China in 2006.
