The first 17 tourists from Hong Kong arrived in Beijing on a first tour group, since the full resumption of cross-border travel between Hong Kong and the mainland on Monday.
The Chinese mainland fully resumed normal travel with the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, which is expected to be a strong boost for the two regions' economic development. Tourists from Hong Kong were presented with souvenirs of traditional Lord Rabbit figurines at Beijing Capital International Airport.
