Gem-like Qinghai Lake enters frozen period

With ice freezing on the surface of the lake, Qinghai Lake, located in an endorheic basin in China's Qinghai Province, began its frozen period.

Qinghai Lake, covering 4,400 square kilometers, is China's largest inland salt lake known as "the saphire on the plateau".
