Hydroponic vegetables provide plateau people with healthy food all year round

(ECNS) -- Hydroponic vegetables are growing well in a greenhouse in Zhouqu County, Gansu Province.

Zhouqu County is located at the junction of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Loess Plateau, with an altitude of 1,173 meters to 4,504 meters.

Due to the rugged geography and climate here, vegetables have not been available all year round, but hydroponic agriculture is now changing that.
